CELEBRATING 25 YEARS OF SUCCESS

Sri Lanka – Singapore Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 25th anniversary on a Yacht on 20th September 2022. The trade relations between Sri Lanka and Singapore is an old one, which fostered great economic and social ties providing an excellent opportunity for business.

25 years ago, saw those bonds being strengthened through the formation of the Sri Lanka -Singapore Business Council under the aegis of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Founded by a group of well-established businessmen lead by late Mr H Z Cassim this council saw its membership grow throughout a quarter of a century into what it is today.

The council boasts of over 90 members and does not only cater to the more established businesses but also supports many SMEs and Startups to help expand their business horizon across Singapore. Singapore is known for being one of the most vibrant and stable economies not just in Asia, but the world. It also provides an excellent gateway to Singaporean businesses to expand to.

The council has seen many such success stories come to life and as it celebrates 25 years of business relationships it welcomes many such likeminded business leaders to join and be a part of yet another success story.

A special video was published to commemorate the silver jubilee, which included the history and the details of the activities of the SLSBC, past presidents and past committees as well as milestones achieved.
